Please be advised that the AGM of Elwood Sailing Club will be held at Elwood Sailing Club, Friday 23th Aug, from 7.00 – 8:30 pm. 

AGM Attendance 

To attend and vote at the AGM you must be a current financial member (Senior, Family Partner, Life, or Junior). A member may appoint another member as a proxy for the meeting.

 Nominations for General Committee 
 
The General Committee is planned to have 10 members: 3 Flag Officers, Treasurer and Secretary, and 5 Ordinary Committee members. At present the following nominations for GC have been received: Flag-Officers: Commodore Ross Lloyd; Vice-Commodore Martin Grant;  Rear-Commodore Croften Dawson Treasurer Dan Osinga; Secretary David Wilkinson  Ordinary Committee Members: Freek Wetzels, Adrian Rowe, Troy Baker, Helen Whiston, Miles Millward 
 
Opportunity to join GC
If you would like to be a member of GC you are welcome to nominate for any position. If there are 2 or more nominations for the positions of Flag Officer, Treasurer and Secretary there will be a secret ballot at the AGM to decide the matter. If there are more than 5 nominations for Ordinary Committee Member there will be a secret ballot at the AGM to decide the matter. 
 
Please note that if you nominate to join the General Committee, you must meet the requirements in the club rules and you must be able to commit to monthly meetings and a work load for the club. ESC General Committee Nomination forms (click for link)

Motions: In accordance to Club Rule 53.1 o Motion 1 – In addition
to the five officer positions of the Association, this meeting
approves the election of five ordinary members to the General
Committee for the next year.
