In line with the Government COVID restrictions announced on June 2, the
Club remains closed. The club will reopen on Friday June 11 if restrictions
permit.
We have received an update clarifying what sailing related activities are
permitted. Activities such as sailing, windsurfing, SUP, and surfing are
permitted as long as the activity does not involve closed facilities such
as ESC, is completed within 5 km of where you live (10 km from June 4),
and is conducted with members of your household or with one other person
only. Outdoor exercise is limited to 2 hours per day. Enjoy what you can!

May 27, 2021URGENT- CLUB CLOSURE FROM MIDNIGHT TODAY FOR 7 DAYS
In line with the requirements of the COVID lockdown announced today the clubhouse including boat storage will be closed from midnight today, Thursday May 27th, for 7 days. Key fobs will be turned off.
Note that exercise is permitted for 2 hours a day within 5km from your home, with one other person only. Recreation activities such as golf, fishing, boating, tennis, and surfing are not allowed.
A reminder that anyone attending ESC must register using the QR code, no exceptions. This app remembers your details when used once at a location, so you do not need to fill in your details again at that specific location.

Re: Remaining Two Club Championship Weekends
Due to difficulties in the assignment of duty the club will revert to the standard 2 race per day format commencing at 2pm
CHANGING ROOMS CLOSED MON 22nd MARCH – THURS 26th MARCH
Please note due to the installation of new urinals in the male changing rooms there will be no access to male change facilites from Monday 22nd to Thursday 26th of March, please change at home or use public showers and bathrooms at lifesaving club. Thanks for your co-operation.

Covid Update 17th Feb
COVID Update Jan 17:
In line with the announcement that the “circuit breaker” lockdown restrictions will be lifted from 23:59 on Jan 17, ESC will reopen on Thursday Jan 18. ESC operations and DHHS health requirements concerning the club will return to what they were before this lockdown. As before, face masks must be carried at all times, and are mandatory when inside (except in a residential home), and outdoors when you cannot maintain physical distancing of 1.5 m or if a lawful exemption applies.
