Tackers – Info for kids

8367383672Tackers is all about having a great time with other kids, playing loads of games and going on adventures while learning how to sail together. There isn’t a court, a pitch or an oval like other sports, instead you have a beach and the bay to explore.

Tackers Instructors are there to teach you how to sail and make sure you are having loads of fun!

When you start sailing in Tackers you will be with a group of kids and get the chance to sail with someone else in the boat so you can learn and have fun together.

After you have finished the Tackers Program, you get a Tackers kit bag filled with lots of goodies and a Certificate of Achievement to remind you of your great day!

End of Season BBQ Saturday 27th April

aquila-ll-main-pfoto

It’s autumn, the days are getting shorter and the leaves are turning gold so its almost time to pack away the sailing gear for the season and head to the footy! (or for us Demons supporters to get our skis waxed :(… )

winter sailing

To celebrate the close of another race season, Sally Richardson has us eschewing the traditional charred bangers and is promising to put on a spread of finger food delights free of charge, so we want to see all our ESC members and their family & friends come along after sailing (around 4:30 – 5:30pm or earlier if it’s blown out) and get into our selection of high class hors d’oeuvres (I’m particularly partial to a devil on horseback) at the annual ESCEoSSBBQ.

The bar will be open from 1pm, so be there early to get the best spot on the deck and remember to bring your gold toothpick!
